Juan Jose has been traveling around South America for almost 2 months and has been in Peru for 2 weeks. He loved Peruvian cuisine and was great talking about that and the restaurants he visited in Lima. Also he was telling me about his trips to the rest of the world, awesome! I got a new friend in Madrid! Ole! It was around 7:10pm when we were getting closer to the city and they turned off the lights of the train.
Finally we arrived to the station almost at 8:10pm. Why did this last part take so long? Well, the train did a zig - zag in its way down. Well, before saying goodbye, the 4 of us agreed to meet in a bar a the Main Square at 9pm. So we barely had time to go and get ready. I was in touch with my aunt and we would stay with her, yay! We took a cab to her house and in our way I called Ana Maria, letting her know we'd be in the Irish Pub at 9pm. We arrived to my aunt's house. She was so happy to see me and there was a bedroom already waiting for me. How sweet!!!! We were in a rush, so we had barely time to say hi, but I managed to spend some time with her and my cousin.
Just before leaving I got a call from JJ. He wouldn't join us. He was too tired. Oh well, we'd survive :P We took a cab to the Irish Pub and arrived there at 9:05pm :) Eric wasn't sure if Stacey would join us. She had something to do with her local friend. So, what to do now? Get a table and recruit new people, haha.
Not even 1 hour later our 2 people group grew up. First with 3 Irish and then a Dutch couple. The Irish people had to leave :( But Ana Maria arrived. And then the Dutch guys should leave too. They would meet their friends at 11pm in front of the Mc Donald's in order to go party. "Well, but why don't you bring them here and then we all leave together?" - said Eric.
1/2 hour later, Josp came back, but not alone. There were 8 people! Right now we were a large happy group. We were just having a couple of drinks and chilling out. Talking about Cusco, Lima and our hometowns in general. Everyone was having a fun time and the atmosphere of the place was really good. Somebody mentioned the word "dance"! Ok, let's go for it! But where to go? Suddenly the French guy - David - suggested a disco. I didn't know that, but the Dutch guys have already been there and loved it.
We finished our drinks and started to walk to this place: "The Roots". They were having a Hawaian party that night. That would be fun. It was a short walk from the Pub to the Disco. It wasn't cold and wasn't rainig either, so the walking was perfect. We arrived there around midnight, left our jackets and went straight to the dance floor, haha.
The place was packed and the music was great, haha. We were dancing and having fun until 3am!!! It was so much fun. But we had to leave, also Eric & I should leave Ana Maria at home first. When we walked outside it was raining a lot! Well, not a big deal, there were a lot of taxis outside the club. We took one and not even after 10min I was already going up to my bedroom. Ok, time to sleep and get ready to fly back to Lima the next day...
