Steamboat Natchez

I visited New Orleans, LA to hang out with Rachael and her cousin, Dominic.

Steamboat Natchez

The ride is 24$... 34$ if you decide to get lunch.  Word of advice: DO NOT EAT LUNCH HERE.  It's dry and cheap... it's alright, I guess.  Kinda like eating at the Old Country Buffet: generic food kept hot under lamps for too long.  Rachael said the dessert was good.  The steamboat ride is fun in itself, and I would recommend that, but just don't eat there, especially if you want an authentic New Orleans meal, because you won't get that here.  Get something at one of the many restaurants positioned around the docks and then get on the steamboat ride.

My recommendation in regards to eating food prior or post: go to Cafe Du Monde and have a plate of beignets and a pint of milk.  It's right across from the pier and it's a much better deal with a higher mark on the level of tastiness.

Pastry hasn't been done any better
I don't think I can even properly describe the deliciousness that I encountered upon placing a beignet to my tastebuds. You must go here and try three for yourself (I say three, because that is how you must order them). It's 2.00$ even for a plate. Seriously, can you beat that deal anywhere?
