walking in the Mei
Mei, Ume or someone called it Chinese plum or Japanese apricot. It was originates from China ,then brought to Japan and Korea....It flowers in very lately winter (especially in Snowing ) and the fruit ripens in early summer ,normaly at the season of raining .Therewass a beautiful word be built in chinese, which describes this season , called "mei yu". There were more poetry be built durning the five thounds years .In Taiwan , we made many kinds of the farm product of Mei,it also very well for health.YOu also can find Mei in the old medicine . Mei liquor ,Ume juice, pickled mei, and even sauce have been very popularly used and known.
Sinyi was a township we satyed durning this weekend. Yes, we were comming for Mei and Coffee. Sinyi locates in a very steep mountains, it is a place which Yushan(the heighest mountain of Taiwan) is.
It was a long weekend because of the new year, luckly , we did not meet any hard traffic jam.We arrived at the guesthouse in the very early afternoon. Wow...the weather was fantastic, huage blue sky ,the green mountain range and the white blossom of Mei....hahaha...
