Pirates of the Caribbean Event - Disneyland
Yes, I flew down from Northern California just to attend an art event at Disneyland (and it conincided with Angel's OC meet up!). They were releasing the Jail Scene sculpture from Walt Disney Classics Collection and the artist was going to be on hand doing a signing! :D YEAH!
Mom and I headed out to the park early and stood in line with hundreds of other people to get it and meet the artist. What I didn't realize is that he did two of the other sculptures in the series and would be signing those. Uuuuugh, I really didn't have the money to justify the 2 other ones as well but oh well - gave in to impulse! :D I was afraid they would be sold out later so I bit the bullet and got them all! Pirates and Haunted Mansion are my two favorite rides (like I really need a reason to justify!! HAHA).
