Tried to go and see Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum today (where his body lays) but we missed the opening times (because Livia got up late and slowed us down...) so went to see the One Pillar Pagoda (which is indeed, just one pillar) and some very weird museum about Ho Chi Minh that barely had any English signs and tried describing everything with modern art which just wasn't working. It probably didn’t help that we missed a whole section out and then couldn’t go back round because the security people wouldn’t let us escape their crazy one-way system.

Moved onto the Fine Arts museum which was quite nice and Temple of Literature which was just really touristy (it even had an ATM inside!) It did have pretty tortoise statues with these scrolls and all the other.  Ate lunch at this really nice place called KOTO which trains all these street kids in catering and hospitality and which was nice. Food was awesome.

Later at the hostel we met a Kiwi called Scotty who was sleeping in the bed next to me. He was really funny and loud and didn't seem to care that people were trying to sleep "GUY'S IS MY LIGHT OKAY?" It was fine, just the voice was loud.
