Local diving
Today we went diving in the local areas. We went to Near Garden in the area of Sharks bay. Near garden is an area with great pinnacles and great coralls.
during this dive we saw a lot of little fish and a blue spotted stingray, lionfish and clownfishes.
our second dive was at Ras Umm Sid, this was also a great dive in an area with a nice white sand bottom. We saw a stonefish, bleu spotted stingray, white murray, lionfish, bathfishes, clownfishes and a sawtooth leather star. It was a great dive.
after we had lunch Gabrielle (dive instructor) asked us if we want to make another dive. Karel and i both said yes, and went in the water for the third time.
Karel, Dirk, Gabrielle and i got in the water by Ras Katy.
during this dive dirk was searching for the special animals. after a few minutes we saw a barracuda. halfway the dive dirk found an Octopus and showed us where he was. the octopus was really great. we waved to the glassboats above us haha and almost at the end of the dive we found a little pipefish. After a dive of 48 minutes the end was there and we went back to the harbour.
after we were back in the hotel we had dinner and some drinks on the terras. And finally we went to bed again.
