a week of relaxing
After a period of positive and negative moments, we found the time for us two to get a relax holiday. For this time we didn't planned what we wants to see or do,it was november and we want to have nice weather and do nothing.A friend of prompt us on the hotel Xanadu resort in belek. We booked our trip and in the middle of the night we left schiphol airport for the hell flight to Antalya.Normal we fly with KLM or another dutch carriers but for this flight we flew with Inter air,a turkish airliner.Ok the plane was in maintenance in our hangar by KLM so i new it was a good plane, but there was no leg room for the taller people.I was sitting in the middle seat before the emergency exit doors,so the back of the seat was locked and could not recline. After the flight i needed a week the get streched for the flight back to Amsterdam :-)
After four hours we arrived in antalya.
When we entered the hotel we were amaze what we saw.The big reception, lots of relaxing chairs and friendly people. Our friend of us who works at a travel agency booked us a bungalow by suprice. The first hour we where two little childeren in a big playground. We arrived early in the hotel so we where able to get a breakfast.Sitting outside on the terrace in the morning sun was the start of a nice relaxing holiday. We spent our time in the hotel with reading, swimming, walking at the beach, eating, drinking and having fun with a couple of german friends who where on holiday without there wifes. And without wifes big man become little childeren :-)
After a week it was time to go home.We found out that they wanted to pick us up a day to early.A change in the flight plan was that the plane left Antalya at 00.10 AM, and that was the start of the travel day.At the airport check in i asked the lady behind the desk not put us on row 15, she smiled and asked me why.I think that she had that question frequently.
After an another hell flight,it doesn'd matter where you sit, we came home in a cold Amsterdam. It was a really nice and relaxing holiday exept the flight.
The pictures are scanned pictures,i didn't had a digital camera at that time.
