2008, one great travel... and that's it.

So, little was I to know that 2008 would find me - - - at home. Two different ones, but home none the less.
My one great travel of the year was the Legend of the Seas cruise in January. Seriously. That's it.
In June, July, and August (Okay and September and much of October. Heck we're still not 100% in the house an unpacked as of December) we moved. Let me tell you, not a BIG move, just a move. Less than a mile move. I'm convinced that moving less than a mile is harder than moving a great distance. We also weren't being pushed out of the house by anyone. That was also hard.
Let me explain: When you move a great distance, a BIG TRUCK shows up one day (or two, depending on how much stuff you have). You load BIG TRUCK(s) with all your earthly possessions.
My other trips include:
I went to the OSU vs. Penn State game in Columbus. OSU lost. Mingling in a VIP suite was fun.
I went to Indiana for less than 24 hours to my aunt's house over Thanksgiving.
Okay, that's all I can think of for now... pathetic.
And with the big economic slow-down (recession... whatever...) I won't be going anywhere anytime soon. We cancelled our yearly trip to Frankenmuth and have no plans to do anything over our 5th anniversary in July. Even flying to Vegas was stupidly priced. If I sound a little jaded and bitter (much unlike the usual me), I apologize; but I am more than a little grumpy that I have NOTHING in the works.
Enough complaining - on with the random pictures.
