Reunion with Dan

Another early start to get to the airport.  The flight was really good and we got to Adelaide in the early afternoon.  The hostel was good but had mixed up our booking so we had a double room instead of a twin.  The place was full so we couldn't switch!  It was so hot we did washing and hung it to dry on the roof - it was dry within an hour!  Chores done we headed into the city centre to get some dinner.  We decided on a belgium beer cafe, and drank wine & cherry beer until Dan (who I met in Philli) showed up at 8:30.  We had only flown in from New York today so was tired, but we still took us to his favourite bar, then on a brief tour of Adelaide before dropping Kerry back at the hostel.  Then Dan and I headed to a park overlooking the city to talk etc (!)- the view was amazing.  He showed me the Southern cross that is on the Australian flag, then dropped me back about 1am - looking forward to a lie-in tomorrow!
