Back in the car, set my GPS heading to Potenza. Scenic journey towards the middle of the Italian soil. Autumn, nice scenery...resembles love at the first sight...fall...falling. Spent most of my time driving until I forgot to stop and snap some views. Kept it well in my head though. My mind blown away while listening to the radio (107.0 KISS KISS), they kept on playing this number by Giusy Ferreri, "Novembre" definitely the popular song over here. Almost 17 odd kms into Potenza then it started rain again. "Jeez, what should I do?". So I stopped, put my hazard light on. And decided to stop at one of the Fiat servizio in Potenza. Overcoming the social hump. "Parla Englese...?" Nope..? Explaining what was happening to my wiper. Again sign language used (dang!). So left the car there. The clock showed half past two in the afternoon. Dark clouds in the sky and scattered rains down on my face. So took my cigarettes, lit it on...suckin' cold air and smokes, what a combination. Looked at my watch, half past four, but night fell so fast, the sun gone, looked through the window, saw the mechanics fixing it up. Relief?..not yet! The old mechanic came out spoke in Italian to the guy in the counter. 2 minutes later, the guy came to me and yes sign language. They could not do it!!! I went cuckoo for a minute there. Spent more than 2 f*ckin' hours and still not fixed.
