All good things must come to an end...

Today was the last day of the meet-up and as we had plenty of time we all slept in a little. We had breakfast together again and talked some more. We decided to go back into the village by car this time but before we would do this we would pack and clean so we wouldn't have to come back. So we stripped the beds, cleaned the kitchen and sweeped the floor and said our goodbyes to the owner.
Tom and Miet had brought bikes so they rode into the village while the rest of us drove. We all met (after some initial confusion) in front of 't Olde Maat Uus, a museum in the village. From there we walked to the north of the village first, back to 't Vonder where we had sat outside for a while yesterday. We didn't stop here this time but decided to turn back and go to Smits Paviljoen which is located beside the lake we had gotten stuck at yesterday.... It was very hot and there wasn't much cover which got a little uncomfortable. The ice cream with strawberries and cream was worth it though! The view from here is great too. After sitting here chatting for a while we moved on to Museum De Oude Aarde. Some TB's left at this stage, but some of us had a look around the shop and Reagan got to crack one of the rocks in which she found calcite and mountain crystals. We also had a quick look around the pottery next door, and then had our last drink together at De Grachthof. The end of a wonderful weekend!
