A journey through Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia and South Africa with a quick stop-over in Hong Kong on the way home

A nothing day

Got up at 6:10am, packed up and stuff and headed on the drive to Mabuya campsite outside Lilongwe, where we arrived in time to have lunch. After that we drove back into Lilongwe to change money (28 Zambian kwacha for 1 Malawian kwacha) and buy praziquantel tablets to take in 6 weeks time to stop ourselves from developing bilharzia cysts from Lake Malawi. In the afternoon we returned to the campsite and I spent a very pleasant few hours in the refreshing pool with Karl, Dad, Richard, Hamish and Odin playing volleyball with a huge swiss ball. For tea we had roast chicken and potatoes, and veggie schnitzel. I'd bought myself a nice apple for dessert, as I'd been craving one for ages, but it was horrible and floury. After tea I cleaned the truck then headed to the bar. I played lots of games of shithead and blackjack with Bon, Karl, Richard and Adrian. It was fun and we stayed up til midnight. There were some incredibly wasted rastas saying some really weird shit next to us.
