I went to Johanna beach this morning (that's right Johanna...there's a beach named after you!) - it was gorgeous (obviously) and i had a great time just chilling on the beach for awhile, sitting, picking up shells, just walking around! I could have stayed there MUCH longer but I had a lot of road to cover!
I then saw the 12 Apostles (ok, there are really only 11 now, or 10, or something like that), London Bridge (which part of it did fall down ironically enough), and more gorgeous scenery on the road!
It was a long day of driving - but I really wanted to make it to Mt. Gambier, South Australia! And I did. I almost had a Rocky-esque accident though as I entered the town. And for those of you who know me, you know what I'm talking about. There's some famous sinkhole that I ended up stopping at (ironically enough), right at the beginning of the town, so I was saved! :)
I made it to the Blue Lake motel and then went to the Blue Lake (for which the hotel is named) and did a couple laps. It felt great to move around a bit after a long day of driving! I saw a GORGEOUS sun set & then I decided to go to the grocery store and do a little "self-catering" this evening. I found some yummy hummus dips & got some veggies. I feel like I've been eating so much lately it was nice to have a nice light din-din!!!
