#57 - last day in melbourne
Went for a walk around Albert Park Lake (again! :) I love how much walking/running I've done while I've been here) with Steve & Naomi this morning. It's their weekend routine, so it was fun to join them on their walk & stop at the Carousel restaurant.
Afer the walk, I went to meet Holly & Dave for breakfast. Holly is a friend of Julia Scahill, so I just had to call her. :) We had a great breakfast up on Lygon Street.
I then did some more walking around Melbourne....I hit the Haight-Ashbury/Hayes Valley-esque neighborhood. Fun to check out the shops, get lunch, etc.
Today was actually pretty mellow - nothing much else to report. I spent some time sorting out my plans for the next week, getting to Thailand, etc. That stuff always takes longer than you anticipate! Anyway, I'm all set to fly from Adelaide to Thailand next Friday AND I have my first 2 nights of hotel booked.
I leave tomorrow morning for my Great Ocean Road trip & I'll be hanging with Andy in Adelaide on Tuesday the 17th! So fun!
A HUUUUUUUGGGGGGGE thank you to Steve & Naomi for letting me stay with them while I was in Melbourne. It was so great to get to know them & spend a few days together!! :)
