I can't believe I'm actually up-to-date on my blog! It probably won't last long - but for now I can revel in it! :)
Today, we were scheduled to go on the 12:15pm whale-watching trip. We got up, got some coffee, and then headed over to see what the chances were that the trip was going to go out. A southerly had come in the night before (which means COLD since Antartica is what is south of NZ & where the weather was comign from!) & it was cold & rainy & foggy. They told us to check back again around 12:15pm so we went into town for brekkie. We went to the Why Not Cafe...I mean, why not. :)
We headed back to the hostel to just hang out & chill until we heard what the verdict was.
After our fush & chups (that's how it's pronounced) - A.J. left to go back to Sumner. Bummer that he couldn't go on the trip with us - he had to get back for work tomorrow.
So, Belinda & I decided to roam around the streets & do a little shopping. Got a cute little t-shirt & did lots of window shopping. We went to the i-Site to check out the weather forecast for tomorrow & there was a big sun, so we are crossing our fingers!!! :)
Now, we are just hanging out again at the Lazy Shag - doing some e-mail - we're going to make a nice, healthy meal for dinner (bought some salad stuff at New World) and get to bed early since we have a crazy early day tomorrow!
Wish us luck!!! We are hoping to get on that whale watching trip & see some whales!
