Georgia's Highest Point
The Smokey Mountains are a beautiful site to see. The first time I truely got to experience and remember the beauty was in the summer of 2002 after having dinner in Jasper, Tennessee. I got to see the sunset over the mountains. Once you see this, you understand why they are called the Smokey Mountains.
The next time I was able to experience this was during this last trip. A friend of my grandmother offered to take us around and show us some of the scenery in Georgia. We went to Tallulah Falls and also got to see the sunset from Georgia's highest point in the mountains. It was January, so it was really cold that high up, but the view was spectacular! You can see this through the photos I took. It was a great end to a long day of driving around.
