Driving Through Nashville
January 7, 2008
I have nothing against the city of Nashville, however, I find their rush hour traffic and highway interchange systems to be brutal. Everytime we drive through there, it always end up being rush hour, so there is a ton of traffic. The other problem is the highway interchange system. Nashville roads split in a few different directions. This is always where we have to get off I-40 and get on I-24. This is never easy. The highways constantly split into "Y" shaped junctions, and you have to get from one side of the highway to the other, through the traffic. Then once you are on your designated highway, the traffic makes you have to go slow. This is why we usually stop somewhere to eat dinner or something, just so we don't have to deal with the traffic. We actually had an accident happen right in front of us the last time we were there.
