I have family in Georgia that we usually visit every January.

Driving Home

Driving home.

After doing these road trips for a few years, I've come to understand that each state has a specific feel to it, and that definately carries over into driving.  The roads change in every state, as soon as you cross the border.  Arkansas is a fairly nice state to drive through.  I've never had and problems or complaints.  And, as you can see through the photo, it can be a pretty drive as well.  Tennessee isn't too bad, just long.  And Georgia is usually ok.  The roads in Mississippi were surprisingly nice.  Alabama has a few things to work on.  Oklahoma, I can warn you, has tolls everywhere.  You basically can't drive through the state without paying a toll somewhere.  It's a little annoying.
