The Focker-family
It's already a while ago we agreed we had to meet each other again because it was such a long time ago. So 23 november would be the day we will meet, somewhere between our hometowns: Aachen. I was supposed to bring Bart with me to Aachen but he forgot he had to learn for an exam on Monday so I left him at home with his studybook because I was real real REAL angry! But I will still enjoy with the boys. :) I picked up Bennie in Dordrecht as he was there during the weekend and together we drove to Aachen. In 2 hours we were there. It was real cold in Aachen, freezing, brr. We met Lauro at the trainstation and waited for Ket for a while. Ket lost his way in Aachen and was driving the same road all the time, and again and again and again... Finally we also met Ket in the city center and drank some hot stuff at Magdalena's (oelala) place.
Beautiful Aachen (I stole this pic from the boys)
(that's the waitress) We played with the puppit and visited a church which is almost the same as the one in Istanbul. The ceilings are beautifull, can't get enough of them. When we came out it was already snowing and even more freezing. While we were siting on a terras surrounded by christmas trees it went snowing real hard and within half an hour everything was white. So I had to play in the snow with my tree sons of course. ;) The way back home was horrible. I had to drive up a snowy hill in Aachen but my car was refusing and a whole line with other cars were behind me. I couldn't go upwards, only backwards and sidewards and was just slipping. Finally I made it and had to drive through red light as I couldn't stop or drive as everything was refusing, just sliding of the hill. I have to admit this was the first time I was really afraid to drive in the snow but also because of the slipy road. On the highway it was much more worse as they hadn't used salt on the road yet so we could only drive 5-10 km/hour...slipping and gassing without moving forward. It took me 5,5 hours to get home, pff... But still, I enjoyed spending time with my Focker-boys. ;))) Oh and Bart just passed his exam this morning so I'm not angry anymore. :)))
