Pretty authentic Irish pub
The Morrigan's is one of two Irish pubs on the main road that runs in front of the base. It's small and cozy, with little nooks to enjoy your drinks. It's a pretty frinedly, quiet place (even on a Saturday with the USS George Washington pulling in), with a mix of locals and US military. Some of the beers they have include Guinness, Kilkenny Ale, Bass, Strong Bow Cider, Heineken, New Castle, Sam Adams, Sapporo and Old Speckled Hen. They also have a full bar with a wide selection of Irish whiskeys. They also play some Irish and Celtic-rock music, and you can make a request to hear some standard stuff, like U2 or Flogging Molly. Pints are about 800 yen, half pints about 600 yen. Happy hour is from 16:00-19:00, with 100 yen of drinks and pints and 50 yen off half-pints.
