meet the fockers! and our mum ^_^

two words - snow and SNOWY.

marloes and me last october decided to meet up again, since the last time we saw each other was last april and THAT WAS LOOOOOONNGGGG time ago! ancient! hahahaha. but we decided to me meet halfway in a boring city called aachen or  more known as aix-la-chapelle. so we set up a date to meet and two focker friends would like to come hahahaha - benniekat and kittyket. so we decided to meet at around 12-13 o'clock at the central station of aix-la-chapelle.

the city is a little bit far from düsseldorf,  i had to travel for almost two hours. when i got of the house, it was sooo cold! bitter cold! and i dont know if i have the right clothes for it, and it was sunday too, i forgot, the street trains only runs 2x every hour, i only have 20 minutes to spare to reach the central station and withdraw money from the bank.

my god when i did all those things i only have 30 seconds left and the train bloody started.  inside the train, i was out of breath as i had to ran.  i was having a quiet moment inside the train, when it picked up passengers from another city, AND SAT BESIDE ME. they were the most noisiest people i had ever encountered in my entire life! i even had my mp3 player on the highest volume but i can still hear them, unbelievable, i just had to roll my eyes! hahahaha.

now the trip was almost two hours and the toilet inside the train was out of order and i had to go! i was, aaarrrgggghhhh im cramping! hahahaha

i was a little bit amazed, they said in the weather station that its going to snow, as i was approaching aix-la-chapelle, it was all white! amazing! but it was finished, but the snows were still fresh and some stayed on the branches of the leafless tree! so surreal!

i tried to sleep as i havent slept last night as i was so excited! i even drank sleeping pills but it didnt worked! hahahaha now in the morning, the pills started kicking! as i am falling asleep - arrrgghhh so many texts came to me - marloes - was there with benniekat and a bit disapointed of what aix la chapelle looked like, text from ket and text from vodafone saying i am using vodafone netherlands?!! what the?!!

as i approached the central station, i went directly into the toilets! but it doesnt work! bloody hell! aaarrgghh, but i saw benniekat! and marloes!!! we greeted each other, benniekat as usual being benniekat! and i fotgot that kissing on the cheeks with the dutch is 3 times! hahahaha wow so long ago i met dutch friends! and i am so happy!

now we are waiting for the travieso kittyket! where the fuck is he?!! then i remembered i had to go to the toilet! benniekat was also looking for one - so we went together in the toilet hahahahahaha :P hahahahah hahahaha

then marloes called kittyket and why the hell kittyket was in the city already?!!! i told him to go to the central station?!! arrrghhh so we went outside and headed towards the old city - which was a bit far from the central station and my god it was COLD outside! good thing i have my kashmir gloves with me, but it still - it the cold was creeping into my body! i had 3 pairs of socks already! wow! hahaha

as we went towards the central station, there were no people around so, it was basically a DEAD TOWN/CITY whatever you call it! hahahah it was pretty boring actually and marloes face was like - "i drove for more than two hours for this?!" hahah well , i cannot blame things. hahaha but as we are nearing the old town, lots of poeple were heading there too, also lots oaf asians are there!!!! kittyket's relatives WERE OUT!!! hahaha. the christmas market is still closed and opens at 6pm, we couldnt find kittyket as he was lazy to get his ass out of the car! hahaha - it was so cold outside! then we saw the puppets and mum marloes played with it! hahahaha.

then we checked the cookie stores! there were lots of cookies and christmas goods to sell!!! BUT WERE SO EXPENSIVE - i saw one cookie for almost 5 euros?!! oh my god!

finally kittyket showed up his ass! hahahaha we hugged! it was a long long long time since i saw him! and well, he still looks chinese! hahahaha and lots of his asian relatives were also in the city ^_^ family reunion! hahaha

we decided to have hot drinks! as the cold was really biting us - we went to extrablatt cafe - and kittyket was instantly inlove with the waitress - MAGDALENA. hahahaha - and were so suriprised that it was snowing outside! wow! but only light snow.

after some soups and kittykets breakfast at 2pm - were ready to hit the city again! we went inside the cathedral - which mum was very impressed because its a different kind, its more moorish in design.

inside, kittyket and i were clowning around and making fun. hahahhaa benniekat was quiet, because he was embarassed to be seen with us! hahahahah hahahahah.

after the cathedral thing, we went to elisenbrunnen, the snow was getting harder - and they were well BORED. hahahahaha. then we decided to find a bar or cafe - went to starbucks - but it was SOOO FULL, then we went to häägen das but no seats inside! hahah and ice cream in winter! hahahaha so we went to the small streets and wow! we found a cafe - amazing! it has a terrace,, with sofas, BLANKETS and heaters! it was the best thing that happened to us! as snow was pouring outside - we were warm and comfortable! dirnking our hotdrinks and enjoying the snow falling! marloes called bart - her husband and she was trying to make him envious i think! hahahaahah

we were just there - sitting and laughing and talking about people. hahahhahahaha - which people?! i dont know! hahahaha

then it was time for mum to leave! *sniff* as she has to go home early :(( then as we went out - the snow got harder and HARDER until it big flakes came! wow! haha we were so white with the snow which clung to our clothes! hahahahahahaha then at the parking garage, we saw a park untouched!!! and it was already covered with snow! we played with it and made a focker snowman! hahahahah and snow fight! hahahahahahaha amazing!

i hugged mum and wished her to drive well on the road - kittyket being kittyket slapped mum on the butt! hahahahahaha.

then the focker kids (hahahahahhahaah) waited until the christmas market opened - when it opened we raided the sausage stand! hahaha i odered button mushrooms in garlic sauce and the focker brothers ordered long sausages! hahahah

as we were eating a man in the city hall was singing hark the herald angels sing, he stopped after a while because no one was listening because they dont know the song. hahahahahahahahah hahahahahahaha

it was wet and cold and we went to starbucks to dry ourselves up!

then talked for an hour and its finally time for me to leave - kittyket drove me to the central station which we were lost and at one point were going up a hill, thanks to the bloody tomtom navigator that showed us the wrong direction! hahahaha we were driving up the hill, but kittykets car cannot go up as it was so slippery! it was scary and dangerous but exciting the whole time! i dont mind missing the train! hahaha

but got out of that hill and finally found our way to the central station, i said goodbye to the focker brothers! hahahaha

now my train too was delayed! kept stopping in between as they had to clear up the tracks with snow. i was smiling because i experienced again snowing like this after 3 years wihtouth going to the alps and spend a fortune just to see snow! arrrghhhhhh . then as i was nearing düsseldorf, i couldnt believe my eyes! it snowed too!!!! and much higher than in aix la chapelle! amazing!  amazing amazing! this winter is gonna get colder as it was!
