Inside our beautiful room on the Halong Bay Cruise!!!
next day, which was a Monday, was the Halong Bay Cruise. The weather was
perfect, it was so damn nice, and the water is so warm. The cruise boat
was SO damn nice too, as we were the second ones to ever use it. On the 3 hour
drive from Hanoi to Halong Bay, towards the last 20 minutes, I got sick out of
nowhere. I yakked partly because the ride was so damn bumpy. Bam was pretty
hungover too. Then I had a classic case of killer diaherra (a travelers best
friend). It's so damn funny now that I think about it, but I had to go so bad
once we arrived, and my stomach was KILLING me, I had our tour guide take me to
some random junk boat, and I totally destroyed that toilet. I was dying. Then I
found out there was no toilet paper so I resorted to the towel that was there,
plus that shit didn't even flush, so I left the crew a big surprise. Anyway the
cruise was awesome, our tour guide was pretty damn cool, as he hooked me and
Bam up with one of the two best rooms on the boat with its own private balcony.
There were 20 people overall, all older couples, and all non-Asians too. The
Halong Bay Cruise was the highlight of my trip, without a doubt.
