Sunny portugal

Potugal is a great place to visit!  Beautiful weather and scenery, friendly locals, great bargins to be had and a country full of many suprises.  Overall the countries south is very dry in the centre and has a landscape scattered with orange trees.  Favorite towns was Lagos due to its beautiful rocky cliffs and Sintra due its UNESCO listed castles and palaces.  The only thing that we didn't like were the exploitive tourism resturants which placed bread, cheese and butter on the table at the start of the meal without telling you that each costs (bread 45c each, butter 1 euro, cheese 3.50, sardine paste 1.50).  In general waiters wernt very nice either.  Be aware of Fado resurants too, as many of he cheaper ones do not play music consitently.
