camping chateau du gibanal.
Camping Chateau du gibanel is located near the city Argentat in the valée de la dordogne.The campground has 250 places for tents, campers and caravans, and you can rent a mobil home,all located in the backyard of the Chateau.
The camping is located at the river Dordogne between two water dams,so the river is good for water activities.The only thing you had to watch out for is that they open the dams once a day,so the waterlevel will raise or sink,and if you put your boat or shoes at the border of the river,you will may find it in the middle of the river floating away.
For the childeren,there is a playground,tv room,several sport activities and animations.
The showers and toilets are clean,and if something is wrong the owner of the camping is trying to solve the problem ase soon as possible.
There is a shop,bar, and restaurant.
In the place Argentat there are bigger supermarkets,restaurants bars ect.
From the campsite there several excursions to plan,for groups or for the family.
The prices are aprox 30 euro per night for 4 persons and car and caravan.
