Shawn arrived from vancouver via housten and as expected hit the streets running. He´d gone up the cristobal but couldn´t find his way down and so in typical shawn fashion decided to bush wack his way down. probably leaving a trail of destruction.

Anyways it´s good to finally get to meet my travelling partner and sort out the details of our trip. And as expected we ended up at Catedral ( supposedly one of the most happening locals for drinks  and food) getting drunk on pisco sours, fine wine and great food. Must say not too much came out of our discussion that night apart from deciding to postpone it to the following night.

This found us at Bar Ligurio, once again with a bottle of nice wine and tonnes of food. They have this dish of a plate of fries with a 500gm medium rare argentinean steak with 2 eggs sunnyside up. Simply scrumptious!!

Anyways once again we didn´t get much settled apart from deciding to hit the supermercado to buy some supplies for our hiking trip.

And so it stands nothing much planned tonnes of trail food and a plane ticket to punta arenas tomorrow............
