The Summary
Made a long weekend of President's Day this year and went to Mardi Gras for a day while visiting two friends in Mississippi about an hour north of the Gulf Coast. It really amazes me how both areas haven't recovered from Hurricane Katrina very much. Personally, even though NOLA had a larger 'human' crisis, I think the Gulf Coast of Mississippi suffered MUCH greater devastation.
