We met at Boom Chicago comedy club at 21:30. First I met Manuel and he introduced me to his colleague Martijn and his friend Jochem. Soon Kelvin arrived too and told that Kat is running late. She wouldn't be able to come with us to the show but she's coming to say hi to us. Our organizer, how could she do that to us! Just kidding ;) So we went to get tickets for 5 of us. We also got a discount when we asked kindly. The show would start at 23:30 but it was good to be there 23:00 for seating.
We decided to go somewhere else for beers before that. So we went couple doors down to a Irish Bar (sorry my name memory again). Kat joined us there and explain that she had just found out on the same day that she has to work on early Saturday morning. Too bad for her! While sipping beer we talked for example that we should have a meet-up next summer in Lowland festival. That would be a blast!
Then it was time to head back to the comedy club and say bye bye to Kat. Hope to see her at NYE mega party! We got seated in the back part of the club but I still think it was fine. We ordered more beer and the show started. It was improvised and the audience gave ideas. And if it was a good idea, you got a freeeeeee beer! We tried to yell something too but they didn't hear us.
When the show was over Manuel told that men's toilet was interesting there. He took my camera to the toilet to capture it. First it looks normal but when you take a closer look you can see that you should do your second business right next to where guys pee without much wall between. Manuel got an explination from someone that it's normal, they do it like that anyways without closing toilet doors. Okay..
Outside I wanted to take a picture of guys when they jump and in behind would be Boom Chicago sign. Our timings didn't quite match and we probably looked like idiots. But we got more laughs out of it. In one picture you can see that one of the actors joined to the jumping.
We were still up for one or two beers so we went to close by bar De Zotte where they have a good selection of Belgium beers. We talked with some Dutch people and cleared where we all are actually from. It was closing time and we were ask to leave because we were the last customers. We got the hint.
It was time to say good night and I went to get my bike. I started to ride towards home and got to notice that my back tire was flat. How nice! Thanks for that someone who did it! First I walked but it felt too slow so I hoped back on and tried to ignore the sound of what came from it. I didn't go very fast but faster than by walking. Finally I got home after a fun nite. I'm up for it anytime again!
