Niagara Falls is amazing . . . unless you've seen Victoria Falls or Iguazu Falls.
Although you have to admire the symmetry of the Horseshoe Falls, Niagara was actually much smaller than I expected. The simple fact that it's partially located in the USA results in overexposure through the media, causing people to think that Niagara is incredible and unique. Don't get me wrong, its beautiful; however, Niagara should never even be mentioned in the same breath as its African and South American counterparts. If you do want to see one-of-a-kind natural wonders in the USA, stick to California, Arizona, and the rest of the Southwest.
