Two unforgetable months...full of "stories to tell". I will be back Spain.

New adventure begins

The first day in Spain...lovely weather...sun, finally sun. At the Malaga airport I was picked up by a person from a language school I was going to attend. He took me to the appartment I was going to live in for the next month (situated in El Palo). We exchanged smiles all the way...and only smiles...for I didn't speak any Spanish and he didn't speak any English...that's when creative at-spur-of -the-moment body language came in handy. I have to tell you the appartment was very nice, with airconditioning (which as I learnt later was quite a privilidge...as I checked among other students from my language school). I unpacked and decided to take a little walk around the neighbourhood...which was very nice...not many tourists, mostly local people... It was Saturday afternoon. I wasn't hungry (probably because of all the excitement) so I decided not to do food shopping that day (big mistake...which I was going to learn about the next day). I only got some water...and my frist Spanish beer, I think it was Cruzcampo:))). When I came back to the appartment I met one of my roomates, Nader...a very interesting and nice guy from Iran. He was also here to learn Spanish...but a lot ahead of me in this matter. To be honest, anyone who spoke more that "hola" in Spanish was ahead of me at that time:))).
