Bright and early wake-up and off we go to the Hilton on Broadway where the whole gang is meeting up to head down to Tucson and Bisbee.
The gang from last night all arrived, as well as five new faces - well, four new and one familiar face as well:
Adrian (for the first time since Phoenix and Vegas in September), Liz, Jim, Dante and Megan.
After roping some poor gentleman trying to leave the hotel into taking somwhere in the neighborhood of 1000 pictures of the group, we started off on our drive south into the desert, to the land of law men and gunslingers, Tucson and Bisbee.
First, before we left Tucson and hit the I-10, we drove through the Air Force base and the totally amazing airplane graveyard! Wow, I wish we had been able to come for this the day before!!! Definitely something worth seeing!
The drive began with some great hijinks, a TB version of Leap Frog reminiscent of something from It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, with Keith and Deema on the bike, Nate and Krysta in the SUV, and our crew in the jalopy! Passing, leapfrogging, and the ceremonial passing of a banana between two moving vehicles both going 70 miles-per-hour! Not something I'd suggest trying at home!
