Some Museums to Consider While in New Orleans
July 22, 1999
I got to see more of the French Quarter, and visit the many attractions the area has to offer. There are a bunch of museums to visit, so definitely do your homework ahead of time. I will list the ones that I got to visit, and give an idea what each one is about.
Remember to do your homework beforehand, to see which ones catches your interest.
The 1850 House - a residential home that shows life in 1850
The Cabildo - history on the state of Louisiana
The Old US Mint - mainly about Jazz Fest
The Presbytere - basically Mardi Gras Museum
NO Historic Voodoo Museum - basically what voodoo is really about
NO Pharmacy Museum - displays of medicine from the 1800’s
[NOTE: Some of these attractions may be closed due to hurricane damage, so check ahead of time to see if they have reopened]
