We were going to Edinburgh and I was anxious if the city was still the same after 14years.
I was there, after the wall here in Germany fell... 1994. We booked a guided tour through Great Britain and each night we were at a differnt hotel. But we liked Scotland the most and decided to be back one day. But it never happened for several years. At least as a family with all 4 persons again. Now, we waited at the airport... plus the girlfriend of my brother.
We got their 2 hours earlier just to be on the safe side. Noiw we had to beat two hours.
I called my company... yeah, I know, sounds obsessed with work, but an important project was near closure.
For my brother and his girlfriend this should be their first flight and they both were nervous but didn't want it to show. But after getting my little brother away from family to get some coffee he told me, he was quite scared. I laughed and told him, what he told me before my flight to Japan one year ago. ... The planes come down one way or the other... he laughed, but he cpould tell I was nervous too.
My father told us over coffee, what he and mum had experienced over 30years ago traveling the former USSR.
We didn't know if wie should be calm now or not. *g*
