Back to "Work"

I wanted to get a picture of the famous obelisk, but also didn´t want to get hit by a car at dusk!

I am sure you will be delighted to hear - short, quick entry today.  We did not do a whole lot.

I like to call this day "Back to Work" because that is kind of what we did.  Well, Adam did work.  But for me, by "work", I just mean I did internet for a few hours.

We basically woke up, had a coffee, and did work - or "work".

By the late afternoon, we took the metro (which is very convenient, clean, and cheap in BA) up to Florida Avenue for a walk through pedestrian zone.   And we had a tasty Warsteiner beer at The Kilkeeny.

Then we went searching for a sushi place Adam had heard about for dinner - but we couldnt find it.  Or it had closed.

But we happened in on another restaurant that turned out to be quite excellent.  Cafe Danzon.  The interior was nicely done - modern with character.  And the place offered an interesting sushi happy hour!  Four rolls, three nigiri, and a glass of wine for 25 pesos.  That is like 8 bucks.  We had two rounds each of THIS happy hour!  Then we enjoyed a tasty - and strong - mojito with cinammon infused rum.  And of course we had to try the dessert at this place - I enjoyed a dulce de leche helado and Adam put down some kind of mousse.

With that, we again called it a night.  We are getting old or something.

Home early.
