Took a class in London for fun. Explore the city and all of its offerings!

Greenwich

On Monday I went to the Globe Theatre to watch Shakespeare's A Midsummer's Night Dream. Learning Shakespeare for four years in high school still haven't gotten me to understand what the heck he was talking about. I wasn't to pysch to go in the beginning but decided to go anyway and see it like how it was perform back then. So the group all walked there together from our flats, took us about a good 20-25 minutes, we went over the Millenium Bridge and pass the Tate Modern Gallery. So we shuffled into the theatre and went to the center. Since we got the cheapest tickets, we were called "groundlings", basically we stood for 3 hrs straight watching the play. Feet was killing me but oh it was worth it. The play and actors did such an awesome job. I even understood what was going when they were talking.
Go there when you're in London! After the play was over we just headed on back.

So today we went to Greenwich to see the Maritime Museum. It was pretty cold when we took the ferry out and drizzling the entire time we were walking through the place. The museum was alright, have a lot of information on Nelson and other naval figures and artifacts. We actual went up this hill and had some lunch there. Very nice. You get to look at a everything from up higher with the air so clean and earthy produced by the dampen rain. Right now I'm getting ready to head out to Paris tonight, or morning, considering we have to be at the airport at 3Am. Probably will post the Paris trip a little later on.
