2007 budapest, vienna, and praha trip from slc, Utah for under $1200.  www.gate1travel.com i have used these guy's 4 times and they only get better, and have great deals on trips around the world! we started off leaving Utah and 6 inches of snow on the ground and was ready for new adventures.  With our DK travel guides which are the BEST, we saw the Hungarian Parliment, St Stephen's Basilica, Vaci Utca, Gellert Baths, Hungarian national gallery, opera house, and statue park.  you have to take pic's of the parliment building from "the chain bridge" with the lions also lions gate.  as most proably don't know one side of the Danube river is "buda" and other side is "pest"

a good place to get a pint is the Irish Cat Pub, good food.

Fat Mo's for good music and chill atmosphere, clubs we hit were Bahnhof, and E-klub they where alot more tame than we hope for, but the ABSINTH was flowing and it's tastes like licorice and goes down hot as it's around 150 proof and gives a hell of a hangover~ lol

lesson learned as we took the subway everywhere, buy you tickets and there is little beat up boxes that you slide the small ticket in to get punched, we bought enough tickets but as no one was punching tickets the first 2 days.  the last day a guard hasseled us for a fine to be paid cash to him since we didn't know but had tickets.  the tickets are about $2 and he wanted $100 my freinds and i tried to reason with him, but said he would call the police and as they were about to pay him i said NO way! and walked away and said keep my ticket and call the police.  he chased me for a little, but eventually stopped as i told him back off and call the police! so just make sure you get you tickets punched each time as they look for tourists.
