In the morning we found out that the cousin was leaving that same day. We went with Xia Xia for breakfast to a local market. We had some noodles at a hole in the wall, sharing a table with another couple of people.  It was a great opportunity to buy some mandarins and some orange juice. Xia Xia bought some spring onion rotti type bread.

We took a bus to Deer turning head  Luhuiton Park. The ride over there was very interesting ; to see the streets with a lots of venders, bikes ,food stands, small shops, small streets with a lot of motos  and very noisy. We arrived  and walk up the hill, very nice views for some good shots. Later it started  to rain and we spend most of the rest of the day under the umbrella.

We walked out of the park in the rain. A 3 wheeled car/moto stopped and for 15 RMB gave us a ride. It was cramped , then he stopped and  picked up one more person - she was his sister. He took us down and to the east to the Dudong tourist area. We did some shopping (bought a dragon walking cane to add to our collection) and ate on the roof in a Italian restaurant “Rome”. Xia Xia discovered  this place for the first time, the ornaments, the food, and the style of everything was new to her.  She ordered  some pasta and tried our pizza too. We had a good time. From there we tried to walk to the beach, but we eventually let the rain win out and headed back to the apartment. Once again we had dinner with the family and retired early.
