Hola,

Since i haven't posted for a couple days, I'll just do a quick recap of this weekend below.

Saturday, March 3:

* Woke up nice and late, went to Borough Market, ate a wild boar and chimay sausage with cranberry, wild rocket (the most excitingly named small leafy green ever), and grilled onions. We tried lots of cheeses from local farms and this super duper delicious mushroom pate that warren bought for his friends whose house we went to next

* Visited Warren's friends in Marlyebone. They'd cooked a huge meal of Korean food and his friend's 8-ish-year-old niece made us cappucinos post-lunch and showed us her colorings and totoro dolls. She was way cute and too shy to talk

* Wandered around Notting Hill and the Portobello Street Market while Warren played basketball, saw George Orwell's house and this store called Octopus where I got in trouble for trying to take pictures of these funky bibs and other assorted awesomeness. Considered buying several things but decided the pain of carrying them way outweighed any enjoyment I'd get from the purchases

* Went to King Street and looked around a bit. Warren missed his first of 2 hair appointments this weekend. Bought some mini tubes of toothpaste to carry in my purse

* Tried a couple unusual macaroons from a new organic food market near Westminster. They were really smooth and nicely chewy and much less coconut-textured than most macaroons. The one i got had a bit of chocolate in the middle too - they kinda sorta looked like small cookie hamburgers

* Skipped dinner to go to a bar called The Westminster out in Islington. Met a bunch of Asian Australian pharmacists with cool accents and Matt, one of Warren's many friends who works at Google. It's so crazy 'cause the window of Warren's room literally looks into the google UK building, and his other Google friends Joe and Sandy are good friends with Riki. Small world eh? Had a ton of white wine fun

---

Sunday, March 4:

* Had dim sum at Royal China with two of Warren's co-workers Rebecca and Ned. The shrimp dumplings were particularly remarkable, as well as this fried seaweed stuff. We also ate char siu abalone buns. Warren missed his second hair cut appointment, but then got one later at a random place

* Took the tube to Camden, explored the open part of Camden Lock, saw some cool candles, grabbed a spicy caiparinha at a fancy bar whose named started with a G, then bought some lamb and chicken tagine for only 2 pounds each and brought it back for eating

* Chatted late into the night about families and people and other interesting stuff

Monday, March 5

Today is Monday and the plan is to visit Tate Modern, The Globe, and London Tower. Will probably stop by Leicester Square as well, to see about getting tickets. Will post more if anything exciting happens or plans change.

It's sunny out (for now) - hooray : )
