Hella Bugs!

After realizing I couldn't leave Thailand for a few days, I decided to take the bus to Kanchanaburi, famous for its Bridge over the River Kwai. I signed up for a one-day tour which took me and a group of 5 others to nearby Erawan waterfall as well. It was all okay, though definitely interesting to learn more about Hellfire Pass and things that went on on in this area during World War II. I used to be super into World War II books when I was younger.

In Kanchanaburi, I stayed in my first guesthouse floating on a river. It was slightly disorienting at first, since I kept feeling like the room was moving - then I realized it was, which was awesome! I did a good amount of walking around town, ate and visited the internet cafe, then went to the night market and bought a bowl of fried quail eggs. The eggs were adorably mini and delicious, though the twenty I ate were enough to last me for quite a while. It was very much yum yum, and then bleh. But now I want more.
