Brief guide to Frankfurt - Introduction

Frankfurt am Main Travel Blog › entry 1 of 13 › view all entries

Most people who come to Frankfurt only have a few hours between flights, maybe a day or two. But few have the chance to actually really see any of it, and it is maybe not the highest priority anyway. But I loved living there and this guide is for anyone who might want some ideas about what to do during the stop-over. I'll keep adding to it for a while, so check back :)

Brief guide to Frankfurt - Introduction

Inspired by the "Made in Sheffield" blog I decided to do one introducing Frankfurt. Although I have now pretty much emigrated from Germany, it is still a place I feel attached to in different ways, and whilst it is not exactly high up the 'must-see list' of German towns it still has a few intersting things to offer. As I said in the summary to this blog, Frankfurt is a place people often see only for very short stop-overs between flights. So for those people coming to Frankfurt at some point, I guess my hope is to give you an idea of a few things to do - whether you have a few hours or a few days to have a look around.
