A Tucson Meet-up Dinner
Well, I missed it. The two beers at St. Elmo's and the long day in the Arizona sun were just enough to nod me out as soon as I got back to the hotel. It was quarter to eleven when I woke up and I was sorry to have missed the Meet-up dinner. There was more shooting the breeze to be done with now familiar faces, more discoveries to be made, and more photos to be taken. There were also the good-byes to be said with vows to meet again, as well as the special thanks to Harriet for making it all possible.
I bought a can of Coca Cola from the hotel vending machine then reheated a chicken and pepper-jack cheese enchilada, leftovers from last night's dinner at On the Border. My room had no microwave so I used an electric hair dryer. Bite by bite was quicker and more practical than trying to heat the whole enchilada.
