Tauranga

Today arrived in beatiful Tauranga. Is quite nice here, love the coastline. To my suprise, the world hydroplane championships will be held just on this weekend. Never saw this things before, so I am quite excited about it. There is also famous Mt. Maunganui which I want to visit either tomorrow or the day after.

great view, small room and worn bed
Stayed at Harbourside for two nights and I have to say that I was happy to move on. The location of the backpackers is just amazing! You can see the sea from the big balcony which is great for relaxing and having a chat. The room (6 dorm) is quite small. There is your own basin in the room which is an advantage. The bed was very worn and the sleep was not that good though. Nevertheless the staff was friendly and helpful. The also gave me advice for activities in rotorua (my next stay).
