The next day we went to Ground Zero because we wanted to be there when the ceremonie began because it was 11 sept 2008! We've been there a couple of hours and it was really moving and we were touched by the people there. Then we made some photo's of Wall street and went to Ellis Island and the statue of Liberty. What a sight! Beautiful!
Then we went to Chinatown (great food!) where I bought a beautiful painted paper parasol.
And we went to Little Italy where the San Gennaro feast was! We were lucky! The only negative thing was when we wanted to go to an italian pub and bought a drink. It was so terrribly expensive!!! That was really scandalous!! And only because we were tourists!!!
But we had a great time anyway! We didn't let our mood change!! We didn't gave them that satisfaction.
