The bridge accross the river
Cassi, Becky and I have made it a tradition to go mini golfing to celebrate Becky's birthday. We go to Centennial Lakes Park for our excursion each year. The course is SO cool! It's mini golf, but they call it 'golf in miniature' because it's really more of a putting course with real grass and everything! There are 18 holes and it's a lot of fun! The other neat thing about the park is that it's situated by some beautiful buildings, on the one side is residential group housing and the other is commercial business. All of it is well manicured and beautiful. There is a man-made river as well and you can rent paddle boats to row up and down and look at the ducks that like to spend time there. If you're lucky, you might even be able to listen to a music group playing in the pavillion. Coincidentally, the day we went for Becky's borthday, her dad was playing in the pavillion with the mandolin orchestra. It was pretty neat to see! There is free parking for this whole event, and if you're parched afterwards you can grab some Jamba Juice on the way back to your car! We went out for dinner at The Cheesecake Factory just down the road at Southdale Mall (another great place to check out in Edina). It's always a fantastic time and it's something great to do if you're ever in the cities!
