Rafting on the Deschutes

One of the major social events of the Summer season in this laid back little Oregon city is to go rafting on the gin clear waters of the Deschutes River. Anyone with an air mattress or an old innertube is invited to join the fun. I took these photos from a bridge at the south end of Drake park in July, 2006.
