Chobe National Park

Doctors visit...no more gammy foot. Woohoo!
Chobe cruise. Well, even though I've almost had my fill of animals and safaris this was really cool. We actually got to cruise right up to hippos and elephants as they waded through the Chobe River. I finally got to see hippos yawn and fight (which looked a little bit like kissing but with the odd nibble of the ear). I loved the elephants. I think I could have sat there watching them all day; drinking from the river, babies splashing about with their trunks, and the big bulls gathering green river reeds on their tusks as they waded through. I managed to get some amazing photos curtesey of Harriet. I now know all the cool things I can do with my camera and how to improve the colours spread across the sky during sunset. Also, as you'll all be regretting, I'm loving the sepia and black&white modes...there will be a lot of those coming up believe me.
