i took a sneak pic of giorgos and kyriakos! ahahhaa kyriakos would kill me if he saw this :D
i slept so deeply! i was so tired from walking around at night in athens with kyriakos plus the fact that i had 24 hours of no sleep - i was zonked! but the next day was so unusual, me and kyriakos went to bed at about 2-3 am because we talked far in the night but i woke up at 8 am! i felt good actually! energized - but the guys were still asleep. i went to the cupboard and saw some teas, well, giorgos said i do whatever inside the house, so  i took out some tea and a dry bread to eat for breakfast - it was still so hot and humid - my body still coudlnt adjust to the great temperature difference, but after drinking the warm tea, it made me feel a little bit better. thank god!

i went to the internet and checked some mails and chatted with my german friends! after that i went to the balcony and looked at busy athens. the air was so still and so dry. the guys woke and we said good morning to each other lol. finally, i said to them that i wanted to go out but i dont have a key, kyriakos said that he will give me some spare keys after he duplicate it. giorgos will work that day butonly in the afternoon and so is kyriakos, but they promised to me that we will go to the beach when they come back! sounds good!

but before they leave, i have to go out and buy something to bite! while they were preparing, i went out and i remember that in omonia metro station, there is a mcdonalds - ok forgive me, i just cant eat greek food! i tried in germany in the greek restos - and the only thing i can tolerate is the yoghurt salad thing - tzatziki after that, its a complete no for me! lol

so i went out and just followed septemvriou street down to omonia, then i went inside mcdonalds and bought 3 hamburgers, 3 apple pies and a HUGE size of coke then went back. when i went back at the flat, giorgos and kyriakos were about to leave, we will go to the beach at around 4 pm, not bad. so i was alone in the house, and ate my burgers and sipped my not-so-cold-coke-anymore and went to the internet to look and search for some sights! hey - i have all the time in the world! lol so its not too late! hehehe i found near athens, just south is the temple of poseidon, i also looked at the buses and prices and its affordable to me! so i better say that to giorgos or kyriakos!

it wasnt long before the guys came back and we prepared ourselves! but it was bad news.. for me :( giorgos thought he would have a free time from work but not, he has to work in the day until the evening and he will be sent to teach in a polytechnic in volos. i was so crushed! because i dont know anything! but giorgos promised me to take me to an island - that made me feel better!

so off we go to the beach! we went to omonia station and people looked at us because we were carrying towels on the streets! hahahah i asked them which beach to? and they both said south from athens but its not athens anymore! wow! ok im game!

giorgos bought a ticket for me - he was so nice! eventhough he doenst spoke a lot! lol me and kyriakos were more communicative with each other. when we were in metro, i havent noticed it before but everytime the metro stops, a p.a. was saying the stops - exactly like epomeni stasi akropolis (επομενη σταση ακροπολη) actually i dont have any problem with it, but it was a voice of a woman and saying in in a very attractive and bedroom-y voice, almost caressing your ears hahaha i laughed so hard and repeated it and all the people looked at me! lol i kept chuckling so hard i just cant stop! lol hahahaha (i tried looking at it in youtube to paste but its different now from 2006! they change it because i think its so embarassing! lol) hahaha.

after we pased acropolis, amazing names of the metro stations came up! syngrou-fix (Συγγρού-Φιξ), neos kosmos (Νέος Κόσμος), agios ioannis (Άγιος Ιωάννης), dafni (Δάφνης) and our last stop agios dimitrios (Άγιος Δημήτριος) the names of the metro stations are so beautiful! it felt like i was in the time of the greek mythology! my favorite metro station name was and still now is neos kosmos! i felt like i was in the center of the universe! oh god i felt like having a high fever! the names are just gorgeous!

glyfada is still far from the last stop of agios dimitrios, so we had to take a taxi! and as usual giorgios paid! oh my god im getting embarassed about it! lol!

hahahaha but i cant still stop myself from chuckling with that bedroomy voice of the woman in the p.a. in the metro! ahahahaha

i guess im used to the germanic countries that the announcements on the stops on subways, buses and trams are very strict sounding! lol hahahaa

Haha! They haven't changed it, it's still the same sexy voice ;-) Don't you think though, that it's so much better to listen to her voice than the voice of the dodgy austrian in the Vienna Underground who sounds extremely bored, makes you feel like he had a really bad day and wants to make yours ever worse? :-D
