a day at the beach

kyriakos would kill me if he saw this :D
giorgos, kyriakos and me decided the next day to go to the beach because it was really hot and we need to cool down. we took the subway until agios dimitrios station and from there took a cab until glyfada in ble (blue) beach. - it was really a cheap ride - only .70 cents one way! in düsseldorf it would cost about 2.10 euros - its really a big difference - it also really helped me, because i familiarized myself with the athens metro - though its only 3 lines - its a bit complicated to use it and it is always full! (because it is so deep - i found it hard to breath there - there are no proper ventilations inside the subway).
well... it was 5 euros per person - the entrace fee - not including the table :D but giorgos paid for it, we ordered drinks first, smoked some cigarettes but they brought along with them stuff from the university, so at the same time they were studying and discussing things.
it was a young beach - lots of teenagers, rich kids ang young people, and really playing housemusic to the max. the one thing i recognized in the mediterenean is that it is much saltier than the south china sea and pacific which i am used to.
anyway, the 5 euro strawberry milkshake compensated for it :D
