The schedule for the day consisted of two parts. The first part was a guided tour through Montmartre, the arty district of Paris. We started at the Sacre Coeur. From there we walked via the old Moulin Rouge to the graveyard where a famous French actress was buried (I don't remember her name). The tour ended in front of the new Moulin Rouge, from where we took the subway to the Eiffeltower.
Here started the second part of our day. We got some time for ourselves to explore the city. Along with some other students, I decided to go to all of the famous attractions of Paris (very touristy I know, but you gotta take advantage of the opportunity). So we visited the Notre Dame, the Eiffeltower, the Arc de Triomphe and the resting-place of Napoleon. Unfortunately, entrance-prices were so high that we only saw the Norte Dame and the Arc de Triomphe from the inside. Looking back, that wasn't so bad because it gave us more time to explore other places.
The day ended at the Louvre, where everybody got on the bus back home.
