baguio and silvertone inn!
April 4, 2000
view outside of the window where EVERY NIGHT someone's singing in a viedeoke drunk and out of tune. hahaha
so connie and me arrived at baguio city at about 7pm it was already dark and we were afraid, but i need to look tough to protect connie from the people who were asking us curious questions.
and we went to sagada bus terminal near the center mall, but the guys told us there that the last trip was early afternoon because the roads can get dangerous in the dark.
so we were stuck with nothing, we dont know the place at all! we thought we can drive directly from baguio. we just followed the big strret up and connie was scared because we dont have any place to sleep - i joked that we can look like street people and just sleep on the streets hahahaha and put some cans in front of us and maybe people would give us coins :D
but god was sooooooooooooo good! after a couple of minutes walking my eyes settled into a small opening in one of the markets and voila! it said silvertone inn! we went up and asked for a room and the only room available was withouht any toilet and bath for 250 pesos - 5 euros - but it doenst matter! at this situation i cant be picky :D so we took it and went up - it was nice and cozy and the window was facing the market were all night long drunk people were singing in the videoke.
hahaha
it was cheely inside and the bed was hard as wood -´laughs - and tomorrow we must wake up early to catch the early bus to sagada.
and eversince i go to sagada i make sure i make a stop in baguio and in silvertone inn! ;D it grew on me :)
