Inter-railing through Europe for six weeks.

The end is nigh

Back to Bremen, now that I have contacted my friend to  check all is OK to  arrive.
Did some beer drinking; some table-football; some eating some very tasty food at Kathrin & Lutz's and also at Schmidt's; some zoo visiting at Bremerhaven; some climbing aboard a U-Boat in Bremerhaven as well.

Here ends the trip around some of Europe. Back to Wales on 28th August, via Amsterdam, Brussels and London.

Also went to Bremerhaven, a nearby city. Getting on a U-Boat was cool - German sailors must have been midgets, as I banged my head a couple of times.

On the Wild Side
They do fantastic food here. I've been a couple of times and had a really good time, though having friends in Bremen who make you laugh helps a lot.

Make sure you have something from the Wild Menu (I've had wild boar and ostrich, so far).
Too much of my life spent here
The Meisenfrei is responsible for a huge dent in my life's bank account. It's also responsible for huge amounts of beer and Kicker (table-football).

The bar plays great Blues music, and connected to the bar is a blues club, that hosts some really great bands. I watched a German Blues Brothers tribute band play here.

Too many times have I walked (just) out of here at 3 or 4am.
